| Leírás | 17th International WACHAU-Marathon The Wachau, a wine growing area renowned throughout the world, offers not just a picturesque landscape, a rich history and extraordinary wealth of cultural heritage but also an amazing and fast running event. In 2000 the Wachau was declared part of the UNESCO World heritage – since 1998 runners have set a tradition in late September. The course along the Danube between Emmersdorf and Krems attracts thousands of amateur runners because of its flat topography and the beautiful surrounding. Following distances are offered: Saturday 14.9.2013 Coca-Cola Junior Marathon: Covering distances from 200 meters for the youngest (born in 2010 and older) up to 2100m (born 1997/1998) Sunday 15.9.2013 Quartermarathon: 10.5 k Team-Event: 4 x 10.5 k Halfmarathon: 21.1 k Nordic Walking Halfmarathon: 21.1 k Marathon: 42.2 k Relay Marathon: Relay-team can consist of 2- (21.1 k + 21.1 k), 3- (21.1 k + 12.4 k + 8.7 k) or 4 persons (10 k + 11.1 k + 12.4 k + 8.7 k). www.wachaumarathon.com |
